GARRET RAY JONES, D.M.A.

Based in Kalamazoo, MI, Garret is an active performer and teaching artist. He holds the position of 3rd/Utility Clarinet with the Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra, and has previously served on the clarinet faculty at Western Michigan University.

Garret maintains an active performing and teaching career throughout Kalamazoo, Ann Arbor, Detroit, and Lansing. He regularly performs with the Ann Arbor, Flint, Dearborn, and Southwest Michigan Symphony Orchestras, and is frequently in demand to present master classes and recitals throughout Michigan. He holds a Doctor of Musical Arts from the University of Michigan, as well as degrees in Chamber Music and Music Education.
